Joy to the world, hark to the angels, oh come all ye faithful — it's the week of Christmas and we couldn’t be more grateful for the reason for this special season!
This is the time when we remember the perfect Child who was born — the One who would ultimately die to save us and who inspires us in everything we do! No time could be more fitting to have joy.
For all you last minute shoppers (the week of Christmas 😂) -- you still have a few more days left to get your shopping done, so to help you out and recap the wonderful year of 2021, our family made a list of some of our favorite products in the store this year!
There are seven days until Christmas — seven things we love to use — and more importantly seven reminders of the time we spent together and with our customers!
For the FIRST day of Christmas…
A tether to go on our tree!
We got a lot of new things in the store this year. Our personal favorite feature? The built-in tether demo tree. As you can see, Griffin is demonstrating exactly how safe tethers are by hanging upside down on one. To directly quote him on the security of his situation “I am not going to fall but I can’t breathe!”
For the SECOND day of Christmas…
Knives are and most likely always will be the Dub’s favorite part of Bowtreader. These Spyderco knives perfectly represent that: not only are they sharp and versatile, they are two he carries every day! (he would also add that these make great Christmas gifts!)
For the THIRD day of Christmas…
Nick knows a lot about broadheads as he has experienced them in every way. Just how deeply he has felt them is a story for another time… BUT these are his favorite to use! All broadheads come in three packs. This three-pack of broadheads (QAD Exodus) happens to be built with some of the best technology we’ve used. It has been proven the most durable broadhead on the market with some of the best performance, which makes it a Bowtreader family favorite!
For the FOURTH day of Christmas…
Four bars of squatch
Of all the things in the store, no doubt Dr. Squatch is the best smelling of them all! Alannah can testify, even by walking past it every day, that the smell and quality suits women as well as men. Since it is all-natural for sensitive skin and of course because of all of the scents, everyone in the family has a favorite Squatch product - here are two of Alannah's!
For the FIFTH day of Christmas…
Five Elevated II Sitka Kelvin Lightweight Hoodies (wow that’s a big family!!)
This is undisputed. Almost everyone loves Sitka but of all the Sitka gear, there is no debate that this is every Sitka-lover’s favorite piece. It can be worn almost anywhere. With anything. There is no Sitka piece people unanimously love and no limits to who loves it!
For the SIXTH day of Christmas…
Six arrows flying
Arrow work has been a large part of Bowtreader since the beginning. There isn’t much to say about the changes in arrow work in the past year, but we will say this.
If you want your arrows to be treated carefully — if you want them to have precise accuracy with as little negative effect on your shot as possible — do not order them from Amazon! Enough said. Unfortunately, the need for this to be said has been proven over the last year…
For the SEVENTH day of Christmas…
Seven Hoyt RX-7
Finally, one of our newest editions, THE NEW 2022 RX7 BOW! We're all crazy about this new bow but Parker has been the most excited about it. To quote him directly, “It’s dead in the hand. It weighs enough but not too much. The grip on it is awesome. The new cams have really improved since last year. It's just the best hunting bow on the market!” Not to show bias toward one company over another… but when it comes to hunting bows, this is arguably one of the best ones for the job!
That’s all for now! We have enjoyed the growth this year at Bowtreader, and we hope you enjoyed these few memories and preferences from our family. Merry Christmas!

The weather isn’t the only thing that can change in a matter of minutes in Georgia — each shot is different from the last one and they just keep getting more epic!
